My name is Jamie Kingas and I am a wife and mother of 2.  I am originally from Pittsburgh, Pa.  When my first baby was just 9 months old, we decided to relocate to sunny Sarasota, Fl.

I became a stay at home mom when we moved and once I had my second child, I was really missing a sense of community and I really did miss working, contributing, and having something to call "my own."  That's when I found Monat.  Truth be told, I started Monat so my short, angled Bob haircut would grow out faster - which it did.  What I didn't know was how badly I needed the business side of things - the TEAM side of things. I was a former MLM eye-roller! I would NEVER "do that."  I was so ignorant.  Really, I was!  Once I really took it upon myself to learn about this company, the compensation plan, the products, and how to "do it," I was hooked.  I make real money. I built an amazing team of inspiring women. I help other women make money and have something of their own too.  I am so proud of how I built my business and can teach you to do the same.  And I get to help make other women more confident by making their hair pretty.  Pretty sweet gig!

What else is really cool about this whole process is that I have been pushed out of my comfort zone on so many occasions. I have grown so much!  It also reignited a passion in me that has been there since I was a child. I have always wanted to be a hair stylist. But "could I actually do it?"  YES! The answer is YES! You, and I, can do ANYTHING we set our minds to.  With that said, I went back to school for cosmetology - 100% paid for with my Monat commissions!

Now, I am a fully licensed stylist in Sarasota and I am opening my own salon.  I truly cannot say enough about our products.  They work, they are safe, and I can actually feel a difference in my clients' hair when they use Monat.
